Michael Burry is one of my most admired investors too. I was shocked when people teased and even mocked his Substack with the argument being that he probably lost so much money that he now needs a newsletter to make money. Cassandra Unchained is not a cheap subscription but it’s worth every dollar we pay for.
It’s disheartening to see and a reminder that, for most people, it’s much easier to complain or denigrate than to see positives or lessons to be learned. And being anonymous and online, with algorithms that supercharge the salacious makes those attitudes much more prevalent.
